As summer is now upon us, with only months away to the EWBC, we wanted to update you on a few bits of information!

First and foremost, it appears that our newsletter hasn’t gotten out to all of you, and for that, we apologize. We believe we found the bug and that all should be fixed. However, in the spirit of comprehensiveness, we’ll add a few reminders in here for everyone’s benefit.

Schedule:

The new schedule is now LIVE! This year, the EWBC will offer a wide variety of workshops addressing marketing and communications, blog monetisation, wine tourism, photography and storytelling, latest online tools and technology, oxygen management strategies and closure selections, raki tasting, blind tasting and Turkish cuisine; in addition to these sessions, the conference will present walkaround tastings and debates on a range of subjects, including natural wine, and the ROI of social media.

Sunday Trips and Pre/Post Trips

Registered conference participants are automatically eligible to take part in the custom-designed, all-expenses-paid, pre- and post-trips organised around the event, in a variety of Turkish destinations (Izmir, Ephesus, Çanakkale & Tekirdag, Cappadocia, Istanbul, Manisa & Denizli and Elazig), and in Georgia.

BYOB: Bring Your Own Bottle

On the Thursday prior to the conference, the EWBC will host the annual Bring Your Own Bottle Night. The BYOB is one of many highlighted events of the conference, where participants can bring any bottle of their choosing that is of interest for them.
