  • What is the EWBC?

    Organized by Vrazon, the EWBC is the only international event dedicated to the convergence of wine and the web, providing a platform for the global wine community to address today’s online communications opportunities.

    The annual, three-day event is helping to build an international network of wine communicators, and also encourages the acquisition of skills and information and the exchange of expertise across national, language and professional boundaries.

  • Do I have to stay at the Suggested Hotel(s)?

    You are welcome to stay wherever you like in and around the host city, however the suggested hotel(s) are in the central location for all EWBC events, not to mention the location where we’ve negotiated the greatest discounts for you, including: FREE WIFI and Free Breakfast. From experience and participant feedback, we know that staying in the official/central hotel makes informal networking and getting know people so much easier. We have done our best to make sure there are enough rooms available in a single location to enable this.

  • Can I register for just 1 day of the event?

    Unfortunately not. The EWBC is a 3 day networking and communications conference. Tickets include presentation, tastings, meals, workshops and networking opportunities that all factor into the final ticket price.

    The ticket price is amazing value taking this into consideration and we encourage you to take full advantage of all opportunities even if one particular aspect of the conference may be of most interest to you.

    Tastings, seminars and keynote sessions will be organised based on the number of participants and there will not be the opportunity for non-delegates to attend these events individually.

  • If I don’t have a blog, can I receive the ”blogger" discount code?

    Many Digital Wine Communicators are active on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube or the various other networks that exist, but do not have what one might call a traditional “blog”. We hope that the conference is of value to all communicators. However, the conference wants to support the individuals who are struggling to get started or recognised for the wine content they are creating, many without any backing by existing wine businesses or contacts.

    We are therefore making special provision for bloggers who are fighting to become a “source” of wine knowledge, education and entertainment and we believe many of these will likely be using blogs, but we will consider other “sources” that also demonstrate a commitment to this goal.

  • How do I register for the Sunday Trips?

    We are working as quickly as possible to get details of all trips posted for you, however, these take time to organize and answer.

    We will have all of the trips finalized in the coming months and announce the means by which you can register for them.

  • When will the Pre and Post Trips be announced?

    We are working as quickly as possible to get details of all trips posted for you, however, these take time to organize and answer.

  • I missed the alumni "early bird" period, can I still get a discount?


    We appreciate that it can be a bit daunting to commit to attending a conference while the programme details are still being worked out, so in recognition of this, we are happy to provide the best possible deal to those who buy their tickets early. It helps us to bring more people and also demonstrates to others, including the sponsors who help to make this happen, that we are all in this together and on the right track.

    For those who cannot commit, or miss that opportunity, we still want to offer benefits for the “alumni” who make this such a vibrant community and bring the “social” to our social media conference.

    There will continue to be alumni discounts, though these may not be as substantial as the “early bird” offers. You shoud have received details by email, but if you need this re-sent, please contact us.
