Mission

The EWBC goal is to create a network of wine communicators across the globe to spread information, broaden the culture of wine, improve industry standards, and above all else, create a physical space to communicate and share ideas.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"What the EWBC does best is to bring together both new and established voices in the wine world – not only from Europe, but world-wide. It’s a great way to meet otherwise virtual friends and make meaningful professional contacts."
Steve Delong - DelongWine.com
EWBC has become an unmissable event – a great opportunity to meet up not only with bloggers but also trade people who are switched onto blogging and the rest of social media and techies with great expertise. Brescia was the latest opportunity and am now waiting for 2012.
Jim Budd - Jim's Loire
2012 was my first EWBC conference, and I just wish I'd been before. I learned so much about new marketing and communication tools that I will be able to start using immediately and very cost effectively for my business. The atmosphere was inspiring, warm and creative, for which great credit is due to Gabriella Opaz, Ryan Opaz, Robert McIntosh and their team. The whole event made for genuine, hugely fun networking with wine professionals and enthusiasts from across the world. The opportunity to find out more about the exciting wines of Turkey was fantastic.
Sarah Abbott MW
"I'd like to thank you once again, on behalf of everyone, for the great collaboration during the EWBC, an event that introduced Franciacorta to a wine loving public in Europe and beyond, an audience that is new to us but one we hope to get to know much better. Our hope is that there are other similar successful opportunities in future to share the message of Franciacorta and its region and wines, thanks to you and your colleagues' efforts."
Beatrice Archetti - Consorzio per la Tutela del Franciacorta
"By proposing a post-event visit to Alto Adige for EWBC attendees, our main aim was to present the production area and special characteristics of the wines from the Dolomites, showing the typical grape varieties and emphasising the longevity of our white wines. We were delighted to host a trip to our region because Cantina Terlano is aware of how important bloggers and their comments are to the final consumer."
Judith Unterholzener - Cantina Terlano
